Brian and Nonnie King

Brian and Nonnie King currently live in Carlsbad California and are the parents of four amazing kids ranging in age from 14 – 21. The King Family has lived 12 yrs in Europe, Asia & The Middle East for various work assignments. Brian is a National Security Analyst by profession and also an author of a marriage strengthening book called, “The 100 Day Promise.” Nonnie is a Health Coach as well as an early morning seminary teacher for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They share a love for people and places which has brought many adventures into their family’s life. They look forward to being guest presenters on this “Couples Retreat” to share important lessons about life and love. At the core of their message will be how to apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to our marriages to make our relationships indestructible. We will be entertained and inspired as we learn from this dynamic couple!

John Rhiner

John J. Rhiner is a clinical social worker, independently licensed in multiple states. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Secondary Ed with a minor in History from BYU in Provo UT. John went on to obtain his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. His work has included school social work, residential treatment therapy, LDS Family Services, Assessments for Child Protection Services, and crisis evaluations in hospitals. John’s work in the social work field helping individuals, couples, and families has spanned over the last 27 years. He says, “A highlight in therapy is helping others find the strength needed to go through this life. Building and strengthening personal relationships in one’s life can truly help in overcoming much of what can make our lives seem overwhelming. Therapy helps people to find the strength within”. John has been married to his amazing wife April for 33 years. They are the parents of 10 children and they have 7 grandchildren.

garrett and Jeanie anderson

Cruise Hosts
Garrett Anderson has worked as a city planner, economic development director for the past 14 years in various cities around midwest. He has a passion for civic service and for making his community better in whatever way he can. He spent many years as a BSA leader, devoting much time to improving the program in the area in which he lived. He also served as a trainer for Woodbadge Leadership Training. Jeanie Moffitt Anderson has been a travel consultant specializing in cruises for the past 5 years. Previous to that her most important job was raising her two boys. Now that they have flown the coup, Jeanie is devoting her time to helping people plan and implement group cruises for reunions, business events, and marriage retreats. She finds great joy in guiding others to the experience cruising. Garrett and Jeanie have been married for 22 years and find that travel is the best way to strengthen their relationship.
